Spuds have Covid in the camp

jJust heard that Spurs have multiple cases of positive Covid cases in the camp. Looks like they might try and get the Rennes game called off. Uefa said it they wont let that happen if they have a squad of 13 players available. It may impact on our game on the 22nd. Even if their top players get it ,and get over it, they still may be out of sorts for our game. A sort of natural Lasagnegate .

The premier league will let them not play as they are apparently one of the big six.
Dispensation will be given to Levy and his poor little Spurs side, they won’t have to play until they are all better, the poor darlings.

In Portugal, Benfica played against a team with about 7 players, I think.
No chance it'll be cancelled, they have a big enough squad.

They won’t cancel. Because every team will start pulling a sick day. Most likely be told to play the kids.

Arsenal had to play Brentford despite having COVID cases. So a precedent has been set this season.
Looks like UEFA are making them play their Conference game Thursday as well.
Bit of a joke if the PL go out of their way to do them a favour. Wouldn't be a surprise though.

If they're SCARED then they don't have to take the risk if they don't want to syrup-boy. I'm sure the kids will be keen to step up. That's what they're there for.
